Legal Background: Active in the field of intellectual property since 1992; Examination as a patent assessor in 1995. Admission as a German Patentanwalt, as a European Trademark Attorney, as a European Design Attorney and to the European Patent Office in 1996.

From 1995 to 2013 active in the intellectual property area, employed in the intellectual property department of Alcatel, later Alcatel Lucent including the famous Bell Labs.
1999 admitted as European Patent Attorney.
2004 German patent attorney exam and admission as German Patentanwalt.
2007 Master of Laws in European intellectual property laws from the University of Hagen.
