Studies of physics at the University of Karlsruhe. Masters degree in physics (Dipl.-Phys.) in 2009.
Research associate at the Center for Functional Nanostructures (CFN) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2009 to 2012. PhD in physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2012, focusing on the fabrication and characterization of semiconductors for detectors as well as for applications in spintronics.
Areas of expertise: Semiconductor physics, molecular beam epitaxy, X-ray spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, magnetometry.

Legal background:
Active in intellectual property since 2013. From 2013 to 2019 employed in the patent department of a medium-sized company in the field of mechanical engineering. 2017 admitted as European Patent Attorney at the European Patent Office. Admission as German Patentanwalt (Patent Attorney), European Trademark Attorney and European Design Attorney in 2021. 2023 admission as a UPC Representative at the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

All areas of intellectual property; patents, trademarks, designs, utility models; license agreements; strategic consultation; litigation and related legal disputes; issues relating to the employee inventions act.
